1. Free Consultation & Planning

         We will visit your address with our Mobile Showroom, listen to your ideas, discuss the style you want to achieve, and take all the Measurements we need to make your Installation plan.

We help you consider:

• Colour, Design Patterns, Plank size
• Laying patterns - Basketweave, Herringbone, Border Detail, Feature strips or Period styles
• Planning - how your new flooring will flow between rooms, through doorways and even onto stairs.

2. Subfloor assessment and Moisture testing

         Before any LVT is installed, I will inspect the existing subfloor to determine what preparation is required.

Different substrates require different preparation methods, like:

• Concrete
• Asphalt
• Timber Floorboards
• Sheet Timber
• Screed
• Plywood      

So inspecting the type of sub floor, its condition, and the moisture test to determine its suitability for LVT.

This allows us to establish the correct preparation system we need to achieve a long lasting Professional LVT Installation.

3. Preparing the Subfloor

Depending on the existing floor and its condition, this can involve:

• DPM/Moisture Control
• Concrete Grinding
• Smoothing Compounds
• Plywood Systems 
• Repairs to unsuitable or uneven areas

Our objective is to create a smooth, sound and stable base suitable to achieve a Professional LVT Installation.

4. Setting Out & Professional LVT Install

         Before fitting begins, we carefully plan the positioning and direction of your floor, which we will have previously discussed on our first visit with our Mobile Showroom.

This is especially important with Herringbone, Parquet, borders and other intricate designs.

We then start the install - Tight Precise cuts 

• Door Frames and Skirting boards 
• Kitchen units and Islands
• Fireplaces and Hearths
• Stairs      
• Alcoves and awkward angles
• Transitions between adjoining rooms

Our focus throughout is on achieving a clean, tight, professional installation.

5. Trims, Transitions & Stair Nosing's

         Where trims, transition profiles or stair nosing's are required, together we will select suitable options with colours and finishes that work with your chosen LVT and surrounding décor.

Whether a subtle colour-matched finish or a contrasting detail works best, we consider these elements as part of the complete flooring design.

6. Completion & Aftercare

         Once installation is complete, we clean and check the finished floor and detailing before the project is handed over.

We'll also provide manufacturer information and guides on how to clean and maintain your new LVT correctly, helping protect its appearance and performance for years to come.
